Colors are different in Theme Designer/actual output

Post by EOM »

I'm using a theme I have created, and the default jquerymobile/light style sheet. The colors in the Theme Designer are different to the actual Nethelp output... Could someone please explain what controls this?

For example the page header text in the Designer is white, but light blue in the output.

It's a theme based on the Responsive theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

Perhaps you haven't downloaded the right version of css from the Theme Roller?

Hi Sabine,
Thank you for your reply. It is the correct ccs, and the text in the title bar is white both in D2H preview and ThemeRoller1.3.2.

It looks like the white text get overlayed by blue. In other words, when the page is displayed, for a split second the title is displayed in white, and then gets overlayed by blue.

Nothing I do seems to fix this.

Hi,

please publish a screenshot from the Theme Designer and one from your result.
I hope that I can then help you.

Hi,

I guess I found the solution:
You have modified your target template for Heading 1, ok?

It's default value for color is automatic. To modify the color of text in the head of responsive NetHelp is to be done in your themes user.css: It already has the appropriate entry, namely c1headerText, you only have to add an additional line with Color: #.....

Sabine,
Wow, specifying the color in user.css works! Thank you so much.

(I do not have a template specified, it's None.)

This is a great forum.
