What is the best way of centering tables in HTML5 output? For most tables it doesn't matter but we have a few small tables which end up on the far left of the page with the centered caption floating way to their right.

Open the table's Table Properties and set its alignment to Center.

Re: Centering Tables in HTML5
If I may make one small suggestion: For usability sake, I would suggest you reconsider centering your table caption/title, thus negating the need to center any of your tables. You'll get more consistent output. I, for one, would be confused why some tables are centered and some aren't. I would think it was the result of poor UX design, if I came across it in somebody's output.
Not that you have to listen to me, of course, but it is something worth considering, at least.
