Identifying whats changed to create a Review Packet

Post by netmatt »

When using Flare, we will often make a lot of changes to a project (multiple changes to multiple topics) and we want to send a review packet for Contributor. Unfortunately, we are not always good at remembering what has changed in the project since the last time we published.

Is there a way to tell which topics have changed since the last time it was published in Flare?

Save date? You could do a search from the Windows/ File Explorer.

You can also use the File List (View > File List) to show all files in the project and then sort them by the Date Modified column.

Once you've got the required date range, highlight the files in the File List tab and then right-click and choose Export Selection to CSV to create a .csv of the changed fles.

Useful option when you lose track of which files you've updated.

Depending on whether you are using version control, check out a copy of what was released and use Beyond Compare to compare that to what you have in your currently active directory.
Started as a newbie with Flare 6.1, now using Flare 2023.
