Hi,
I use Flare as my authoring tool... and I have a license for Capture, but seldom use it. However, recently/suddenly, I've noticed than somehow when I add a new image to my Flare project, a .props file is being created as well. I have no idea how or why this is happening - since not only am I NOT using Capture, I don't even have it open.
I don't need or want the .props files in my project... I can delete them, but I would just like to prevent them from being created outside of Capture.
I know this issue sounds bizarre so I suspect it has a simple explanation.
Thanks!
.props appearing without using Capture

Are you modifying the image in any way, such as resizing from within Flare?

Re: .props appearing without using Capture
Are you applying a condition to the image file in the Content Explorer? That'll spawn a .props file.

Yep, the props file will store any property you set on the file, like a condition or file tag - so don't delete them without checking.
You can view the props file in a text editor to check what's actually in it.
