Hi! How do I get the TOC to reflect the page number I have throughout my manual. In the manual it's chapter number - page number (like, 2-4), but I can't get it to do that in the TOC. I come close, but the number don't align and everything starts with 1!
Thanks!!

Re: Chapter number-page number in TOC?
Hi Erin,
You need to specify a text string for the page number in the fltoc file. For example, Each chapter of my document starts with a chapter title page. The printed output properties are defined as below:
Each chapter start file is set to increment the chapter number. The text string defined for page number prepends the chapternumber to the page number (reset to 1).
All other topics after the chapter title are set to increment page number.
Then the TOC proxy should pick up page numbering correctly for your document.
Cheers,
Rob

I followed these instructions and it still isn't working for me. Not sure what I am doing differently.
