Automatically renamed props? -> JPG~RF15aa0d2f.TMP.props

Hello,

we are experiencing a new effect today: many of our images that have been created with MadCap Capture show "(there are no objects in the current file)" in the "Object Layers" window:

When we look for the (obviously missing) .props file in the Explorer we find that it has been renamed (automatically, whenever, we don't know):

Can somebody please help and show a way to avoid this mysterious renaming in future?
Btw.: The projects and files are stored in Sharepoint, but we don NOT work with File Check-In and Check-Out.
