Migrating Zendesk articles to Flare

Post by elenapetrova1 »

How can I migrate Zendesk files to Flare? Is there an import method that you recommend (HTML or Markdown)? The files that need to be migrated are knowledge-based articles.

Hiya,

My company is also using Zendesk, but I haven't begun working to move any data, yet.

Jenn Morse posted this article:

"A Guide to Embedding Zendesk into MadCap Flare Topics"

Flare's Slack group has an Integrations channel. it doesn't seem very active, though. It's seen no traffic since 16 March when I joined it.

If you aren't on Slack, PM me your email address and I'll send you an invitation.
Trent.

The integrations channel in the Flare Slack community doesn't have any relevance to the OP's question, given that the workflow the OP is seeking is to migrate Zendesk content TO Flare, rather than to publish Flare content TO Zendesk. The integrations channel in Slack is for advice about using Flare's integrations to publishing to Zendesk, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

Well, darn. Thanks, Nita.

I hope support doesn't have too much content to shift into Flare when they're ready.
