Embedding Visio Source (Not just images)

My company makes extensive use of Visio to document processes. The graphical modality works well for us. As such, I've started to explore how best to incorporate our Visio diagrams into Flare. My ultimate goal is to use Visio's inherent strengths to create and maintain drawings and Flare to host the drawings in HTML5 output.

To date, had a degree of success. Also, one can attach a hyperlink to elements in a Visio drawing such that the elements in the embedded diagram can direct the browser as any other hyperlink would. This makes drilling down into a hierarchical flowchart possible. Hover text is also supposedly supported within Visio but I'm still getting that working!

Has anyone else here done this before? There's no shortage of details I'm working through and would appreciate learning from those more experienced.

Hi Ed,

I haven't tried that, myself. If you head over to the Flare Slack channels you might find someone who has done some object embedding. I've only used it in Word.
