Transparent PNG has white background in PDF

Hello all,

I am troubleshooting a graphic display issue, and could do with some help please.

When I insert a PNG that has a transparent background into a table that has a blue background, the PDF output displays the image as having a white background, rather than transparent. See attached screen shot.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

I've had the same issue. I found out, that the white background is printed when the setting for the image Compression (PDF-Target -> PDF Options -> Compression) is "jpeg".

With the value "Automatic" the background stays transparent.
