Detecting changes and automating HTML imports

My team currently spends a lot of time manually importing HTML files that our engineering team auto-generates for us. Each time we have a software release, we:

• Download the new version of the source files from an Amazon S3 bucket folder

• Import the files

• Split the files (using the Kaizen Plugin)

• Update our TOCs so that we can build our targets

• Publish the updated documents

Is there a way to make this process easier by automating the import?
