File list columns not persisting

Hi there

I have tailored the file list (View>File List) column headings so that only the ones I want are shown on screen, and in a particular order.
However, it only seems to persist for a while, then I go back to the tab and it's reverted to default, which is really annoying!

Has anyone else seen this or know what I might be doing wrong?
