Removing undefined conditions
I had a conditional tag which I no longer needed and deleted. I have checked with the text editor and there are no more references to that tag in the topics. However, in the targets, there are still references to the deleted tag, under "undefined". I cannot delete them. They are not in the associated TOC. How do I edit the targets without deleting and rebuilding them?
Re: Removing undefined conditions
You can edit the target in a text editor and remove the unwanted conditions from the ConditionTagExpression attribute value. That worked for me.

Re: Removing undefined conditions
You don't need to edit it in a text editor.
In the target editor, just go to Conditional Text - (undefined tags), and remove the ticks from Include or Exclude.
If you do this again, it's much easier to use Analysis > Undefined items > Undefined Condition tags. You can select all the references and Delete them in one step.

Re: Removing undefined conditions
Thank you. I went in to edit it with text editor and the old condition was not present. It appears to have disappeared with a reboot.

Re: Removing undefined conditions
I have removed the tags both ways and it is much easier to do it by unticking them (Not Set) in all of the targets. I checked in the changes, I didn't even have to reboot and the deleted tags are gone. Thank you!
