Hello,
Does anybody have any tips for importing Confluence spaces into Flare? We are seeing the following behaviours:
1. For large spaces, Flare hangs when trying to open the space for viewing (we don't get as far as actually selecting the folders/files that we want to import from that space)
2. For spaces that do manage to open, we just see a dozen files available for import rather than the thousands that we can see directly in Confluence with the same user.
3. After selecting files for import, the button to finalize the import (Finish or Import depending on if you are using the wizard or an import template) is disabled.
Are we doing something wrong?
Thanks
Adrian

Re: Importing from Confluence
Hi Mathini,
I never solved it. For other reasons we decided to delay our migration indefinitely, so we uninstalled Flare. However, I did wonder if it was due to there being pages that I (the person doing the migration) was restricted from viewing.
Are you a space admin in Confluence? If so, you could try going to the Restricted Pages section in Space Tools. Look for any pages that have view permissions set only for people other than you (meaning you can't currently see those pages even though you are an admin). Give yourself permission for such pages. Doing this is a bit of a PITA...for each page you need to first remove the view permissions assigned to others (by clicking the padlock symbol) and then open the page and give permissions to yourself and to the people you just removed permissions from.
Even after doing all this I don't know if the migration would work, but if you do try it, please post back here to let us know!
Thanks
Adrian
