Win32 handle that was passed to Icon is not valid or is the
Suddenly, I cannot open a project and get this error. However, I can open all the other projects I have. We use SVN and I tried deleting the folder and updating (to clear any changes etc) but still I get this error. I had been doing a lot of screenshots using Capture. I didn't get any indication of any errors when I closed the project. Just when I went back into it later on. Any ideas?

Same error with Git and Flare 2024 r2.
Other colleagues can open the project with no error. Other branches (same project, different version) in separate worktree folders on my computer don't get this error, either. In the broken folder, if I check out a prior commit (which worked before), Flare throws this error now. Then if I dismiss the error and open any file inside the project (TOC, topic, etc.), the error message appears again.
So the problem is specific to one project folder on my machine -- regardless of commit ID.
Software updates to Flare, TortoiseGit, and Windows occurred recently, and now icon overlays are broken too. (Each file/folder's badge usually shows its Git commit status.) Don't know the root cause yet, but for fellow Google search seekers...
WORKAROUND
Rename the broken folder. For example:
1_0_0 -> 1_0_0_win32_error_workaround
Now everything opens normally. Just don't rename back to the old name, or it will break again.
