I want to change the red color when mouse hovers Index keywords. How I can do that?

Have you tried the keywordlink section in the stylesheet? If you open the stylesheet editor in simple mode you should see any class etc that has a red colour.

Changing the index hover colour is very similar to changing the TOC hover colour, covered in this kb article:

Follow the instructions, but edit the MadCapIndex.js file (instead of MadCapToc.js).

Hi,
It works fine for XP, Vista won't allow me to edit a file, even if I change the read-only attribute I still cannot save changes to MadCapIndex.js .
Any ideas?

Vista is rather strict about administrative rights...
make sure you nare a member of the administrators group and see if that helps.
