How do I change empty search results message?

Post by brad friesen »

I'm translating a Flare Help project and I was wondering how I can edit the (No topics found) message that appears when performing a search. Does anyone know where I can edit this? Thanks.

What output format are you using? If it's HTML Help (aka CHM) there is an issue that crops up from time to time where HTML Help Workshop loses track of a dll. The solution in that case is to re-register the dll.

Details can be found in the KB article here:

Until next time....

We're using WebHelp, so no chm files.

The issue isn't that he's getting an error. The issue is that they want to customize the error message so that end users will see it in the language that the rest of the help is in.

I don't have to translate anything, but I assumed the Flare-generated messages were written in whichever language the project was written in. So if the project is specified as French then the errors and other messages display in French.

Are you saying that doesn't happen, or is the project in English and you want to manually translate the messages?
