Why do Compilation times reduce?
Why do Compilation times reduce?
It's not a problem as such, I just want to know why. I've just started the task of making my online help content look remotely decent in Word - meaning lots of compilations in a short space of time. The first time I published to Word it took 22 ish minutes, the second time it took 9 minutes and now we're under 5 minutes (relatively small tweaks each time). I haven't cleaned my Project (obviously) so I'm just wondering what Flare is actually doing to achieve such a huge speed increase. The Word document is around 350 pages so publishing to Word in under 5 minutes is impressive in my book!

Re: Why do Compilation times reduce?
My guess it is a matter of caching files that are frequently used. I'd expect the compile time to go up again after a reboot.
