Hello all,
I did a PDF build, opened file and started paging through to see if all looks well, and the following error pops up:
Since I am the one who created the file, I do not know what would be causing this error.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Andrea

What's on that page? Normal text and images? Or did you embed some type of multimedia file? If so, you might need to condition that out for print output.

All I have is text and images/captions in div tags.

Re: PDF build error
Are you seeing any errors during the PDF build process?
Which version of Adobe Reader are you using?

Re: PDF build error
The build process shows no errors. I don't know there is an error until I open the PDF and scroll through it. And it doesn't show the notice at the same place every time, so I don't think it's a page setting it off.

Re: PDF build error
How big is your PDF? Can you strip it down small enough that you can attach it to a post in this thread? I'd like to see the error. Is it just your PC? Have you handed off the PDF and seen it happen on other PCs?
You know, I've had some weird things happen in Flare-generated PDFs also. No error messages. But suddenly as I'm scrolling through a PDF, it stops working. I have to close the file and reopen it. This problem hasn't happened consistently. So I assumed it was just my PC ...

Re: PDF build error
I tried to attach the PDF, but it says they are not allowed to be posted. I have the problem on any computer I use. And it's only in one specific project build, and not in any of the others. So I know it's not the page layout, masterpage, or CSS because all 25 projects share these files. So I am not sure what else would cause it.

Re: PDF build error
You need to isolate the problem. I'd recommend ripping out sections from your TOC and re-building the PDF, and then checking to see if the error still occurs. Repeat this process until you isolate which topics or images are causing the problem.
Also, just zip up the PDF and then attach it to a reply.
