Image shrinks in Word output but not in PDF

I have a PNG image that looks great in PDF as well as WebHelp output.

As soon as I output to Word, however, that image shrinks up rather laughably. Talk about downsizing!

I have supersized it via Snagit and inserted the new image, but to no avail. Word output is still putting the squeeze on my image.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not sure this is a Flare issue--I've found that Word often shrinks images on me.

First, check that if the image really has been shrunk (as opposed to displaying improperly).

In Word, right-click on the picture and choose Format Picture.
Click the Size tab. Under the Scale section, double-check that the Height and Width are set to 100%. If they aren't, change them to 100%.

If the height/width IS 100%, maybe Word doesn't like the PNG format? Have you tried saving your graphic as a JPG or GIF just to see?

I tried all suggestions.

What worked best was importing the shrinking image into Snagit and cranking up the image size 300 percent!

That seems to have done the trick. It looks vaguely normal in Word at 300%.

Some images pose no problem at all. Others bubble straight up from He!! itself.
