question about the HTML Help Icon

Post by madcapnewbie »

Hi,

I'd like to have my TOC html help icon look like the purple book that you see in most helps. Currently, mine is the default green one.

I went into one of my books in the TOC and in Properties > Advances, selected the purple book icon. However, when I generate the help, I still get the default green book icons.

What's the best way to change this?

Hi there
Do you often clean your output directory? Do this as a first instance and re-build. Test the output. If it is still not working, try going to your skin, then to the HTML Help Setup tab. Once there, click on the TOC Options button. Then, make sure the 'Use folder icons for books' is unticked. This sould give you a TOC as in the preview in the screenshot below, with purple book icons.

I hope this helps.
