styling the search results table

Post by owenf »

Hi everyone,

please bear with me if this has already been answered - i've tried to find it in the help, forums and styles guide pdf:

I'm trying to use the skin editor to change the following images used in the default skin for the search results table:

arrowup.gif
arrowdown.gif
searchgradient.jpg and
searchgradient_over.jpg

but all i can find is a place to change the labels "rank" & "title". Is it possible to do through the interface, or do i need to resort to overwriting the files [after|before] creating the output in the [output folder|madcap program folder] copy of the skin?

thanks in advance if you have any advice,
owen

I don't believe you can change those elements using the skin editor. I think you're left with overwriting the images.

As you said, you can overwrite the files in your output folder (\Output\Username\ProjectName\Skin\Images) each time you compile, or you can overwrite them in the Flare source (C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\...) if you want the changes to affect all of your projects.
