So, here's the issue...
Any of the screens that don't have a continue button to automatically force the movie to advance will pause. In the Frame Properties menu, I have the Pause movie at end of frame box unchecked. It works correctly when I preview it in the application, and as soon as I compile in flash the movie won't advance on the screens with this box unchecked. This worked in Mimic's previous version, so is this a known issue, or is there a workaround?

Try changing your Flash Global Security settings to "Always Allow". You have to do it via this web site:
