Removing frames in Mimic

Is it possible to remove frames temporarily without deleting them permanently? I'm trying to edit for speed, but I don't want to don't anything I can't undo just yet.

Copy the project file to a safe location?

I guess I'll have to. I was wondering if Mimic offered a tool to "Try it this way first."

Even if it had, I'd make a backup anyway.
