i have a table in my output that has a little extra line at the end of one row, as if it is part of an extra column.
in the madcap interface there is a style tag showing at the end of that row, but i can't figure out how to delete it.
any suggestions?
here is a screenshot of the stray tag.

Re: stray table tag in my table
I see this kind of thing a lot with tables imported from RoboHelp.
Open the topic in the internal text editor so you can see the code. Look for an empty td tag. You'll see <td> on one line immediately followed by </td> on the next line. Delete those two lines. That should be it.
I haven't found a way (not that I've really tried it) to get rid of these empty tags directly in the XML editor.
Hope this helps.
