Remove arrow from glossary term

Post by sleid »

When a glossary item appears in the text of the help system, there is a small box with an arrow next to it. Is there a way to remove this box and leave the link to the glossary definition?

Thanks!

In the stylesheet, under MadCap | glossaryTerm, for Popup (assuming the link is a popup), change mc-closed-image and mc-open-image to none (these properties are listed under Unclassified in Advanced view).

At least, I think that will do it...that is the change I seem to have made in my stylesheet and I do not have the arrow on my glossary terms. I still see the arrow in the WYSWYG editor but not in the output.

That was a very clear instruction, thank you Whunter! I have Flare 7, but unfortunately it did not work for me :(

Maybe your link is not set to popup? For example, if you are using expanding text then you would need to modify the Expanding class instead of the Popup class.

You might also check your stylesheet medium to make sure the change was made in the correct medium.
