As far as I can tell, synonyms entered in Feedback Explorer aren't working, or aren't working consistently. We have a Feedback Server and a WebHelp Plus target. I've assigned synonyms to half a dozen words that users are searching for, but when I test them in our help many do not return search results (and I know the synonyms I've assigned have results).
A few questions:
- Has anyone else experienced this?
- Can a phrase be a synonym? If so, should it be in quotes?
- Is there a delay between updating the synonym list in Feedback Explorer and the help system's search finding matching synonyms?
