Hi, I'm trying to use Helvetica Neue and Gill Sans in Flare. I've changed the style sheet, but still Flare doesn't seem to pick up the Fonts when I generate the output.
I'm using a PC and the fonts are located at the hard drive \Windows\Fonts\.
Could anybody tell me from which location Flare pick up the fonts, or if it is a setting that I've missed to do?

Are those TrueType fonts? With any other font file format it will be hit or miss with Flare.
Also, which output are you using? Since these fonts are not standard fonts they will not be available on other systems. For some outputs that matters more than for others.
And yes, that is the correct font folder.

No, these fonts are not True Type. Does it mean that they cannot be used, not even for printed output?

Please file a feature or bug request to get MadCap to accommodate OpenType fonts. According to MadCap Tech Support, "Flare currently does not support OpenType fonts."

The only solution I've come up with is to convert the font from OpenType to Truetype using a font tool.

Be mindful that converting a commercial font might be a violation of one's license agreement.
