So.. here's the situation.. I have created a 23 second video in Mimic... my internal client wants to be able to add this video to a new web portal we are developing so that the user just clicks on the icon/link and the video plays. I have created the video and used the swf output.
But here's the problem... we don't want to use a format for which the user might have to download a special player (Flash).
the Internal Client wants a single file.. not a collection of files like with SilverLite... but since swf won't work for his purposes, I am not sure what other options I have.
I tried converting the swf to avi - but the file becomes huge and also seems to require some sort of player installed.
Does ANYONE have any suggestions as to how we can resolve this issue? It's a puzzler for me.
