Hi All
I've just upgraded to Flare 9 and was looking at the MadCap site. On there, there are a couple of examples that seem to bypass the skin and use the flare content in a non-Flare interface (I'm guessing CSS web layout or something). I just wondered if anyone knows how to do this? Does using Flare files outside of the skin mean a lot of the Flare features can't be supported? (i.e. it is like a standard web site).
Thanks

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Perhaps if you took a screenshot we could then comment.

Hmm....looks like the case studies have changed since I last looked. They used to have case studies that didn't look like Flare output - they looked more like a web page layout, with different divs etc.

You can do it, but it requires a lot of modification to the default.htm, Flare-generated stylesheet files, perhaps some of the JS files, and so on, so you really need a background in HTML, CSS, etc. So it can be done, but not within Flare. Most of the ones I've seen in the past were modifications to WebHelp output; don't know if anyone has done it with HTML5, or if it's easier or harder with that output.

If you look at ZebraZapps, and the code behind it, it bears little resemblance to a MadCap help output.
