Test-to-speech for Mimic narration

Hi:

I am trying to put together a plan for narrating videos (say Mimic) using audio generated by a text-to-speech converter system. One of the reasons I would like to try this is to generate non-English audio from translated text.
1/Do any readers have any experience doing this?
2/What system do/did you use?
3/ What was your experience?
4/ Did the system support non-English output?
