Ignore crash and keep working!

Flare 4.2.1 on Win XP.

I think I've been having issues with the .NET framework because every time I launch Flare, it crashes. ("MadCap Flare has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.") I click on either the Send Error Report or Don't Send button, and it shuts Flare down.

However, if I don't click on either button, I can move the dialog box to the side (it's not modal) and keep on working.

Any idea what's going on?! :?:

I encountered a similar problem with Flare V5 after the latest microsoft updates.

As these also affected other functions I had to carry out a system restore, then when trying to run Flare got the same error returned.

I actually resolved this be re-installing the latest .Net (in my case 3.5SP1 but for yourself could be 3.0).
When running the installer, I had the option of Remove or Repair, and after clicking repair and letting the installer run I could open Flare with no problems and have not seen the error since.
