Hyperlinks in breadcrumbs

I have been fiddling around with breadcrumbs and notice that in the Flare help file, the breadcrumbs have hyperlinks. However in the breadcrumbs I added to my help file, there are no hyperlinks. How do I make the breadcrumbs hyperlinks?

The topics need to be in the ToC and every book in a ToC needs to be linked to a topic. IIRC if just one book in the series does not link to a topic the breadcrumbs don't have hyperlinks.
