Headers for individual topics

It is the "Getting Started" forum, so I hope there are no dumb questions :D

I have imported in my doc, have got it all into the 30 or so topics, created a TOC and an index.

Now I want to have each topic (all I have is content right now, no Title page, etc) have a Header and Footer. My target will be 3 styles (PDF, HTMLHelp and WebHelp) I tried Page Layouts, but that only put a header at the very beginning of the PDF output 1st page. Nothing in HTMLHelp and nothing in WebHelp... :(

For online output, do a search in Flare on masterpages. Page layouts are for print layout and masterpages are for online output, although originally masterpages were also for Word (and perhaps FrameMaker) output, but the page layouts are definitely better for print.

Great, thanks, that worked. Using a Page Layout for PDF and a MasterPage for the HTML/Web help :D
