DepSets folder

Post by yawnocj »

I'm running Flare 4.2. Whenever I create an output, I get the "Output\<my name>\Temporary\DepSets" folders. I was told that these folders are not created in version 5. What is the use of these folders and have they been dropped for version 5?

Flare 5 still creates a temporary folder in the output folder after a build. I never had them in any of the Flare versions until I set up my projects in Team Foundation Server. Now, they build every time I do a build.

They're definitely still there in v5, and appear when I build any project.

What's the problem with them though?

Thanks for the info.
My situation is that once I create an Online Help, I turn all the Flare files over to another group for maintenance. This group has version 5 and they say that these files are not created when they create an output, insinuating that I had screwed up somehow by having these files. Now I can tell them it wasn't me, it's just part of Flare.

Ah, as they're temporary files anyway and not part of the source or output; you can tell them they don't need to worry about them.
