Variables inside snippets...?

Okay, I'm having one of those moments where I wonder if I'm going crazy. We *can* use variables inside snippets, right? I'm pretty sure I've done this before, but I'm in an flsnp now and the Insert > Variable option is grayed out.

Yes you can use variables in snippets. Click again against or into the snippet tab. Sometimes it needs an extra "invitation"...

Yeah, I tried to re-click in the snippet, close Flare and reopen, etc. No big deal; I copy / pasted it into the snippet. Weird.
