Re: Thumbnail size
From the Flare help system:
Here is the help topic that describes this:
http://www.madcapsoftware.com/support/w ... Thumbnails
Specifically, that is referring to the class you create for thumbnail images. You can do this in the advanced view using these properties, or you can do it in the simplified view by using the options there.g.If you want to set a maximum height or width for thumbnail images, complete the mc-thumbnail-max-height or mc-thumbnail-max-width fields. You probably only need to complete one of these areas.

Re: Thumbnail size
Thanks Paul. I did read about that but quess I just didnt comprehend what it was saying.
Ive not tried using Thumbnails until today and just tried to set the mc-thumbnail to hover for my p.image tag which all of my images are using. However when I compile and load the help file, i see no thumbnails. Any thoughts?
Thanks again.
Pam

Re: Thumbnail size
How are your images using a p.image class? P is a paragraph, or text element. I think you want to use a class of the IMG element.
I would create a class of img called thumb, and I'd apply that class to images that I want to have thumbnails. Then I would set the thumbnails as described in the help.

Re: Thumbnail size
Did I do that wrong. I created a p.image class. I will try as you describe.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Thumbnail size
Yeah. I p.image class will apply properties to the paragraph that contains the image, but it doesn't affect the image itself. It includes all content in the paragaph tag including the image, but it doesn't apply specifically to the image.
Instead, you create a class of img (say img.thumb) that you can apply to images that you want to appear as thumbnails. Any changes you make in the stylesheet to the parent img apply to ALL images. Changes you make to the img.thumb class apply only to images with the thumb class <img class=thumb" src="/whatever.png" />.
So if you want EVERY image in your project to use the thumbnails, you will make the change to the img element in the style sheet. If you only want the thumbnails on specific images, you create the class, and apply the class to those images that should be thumbnails.
Does that make more sense?

Re: Thumbnail size
But what if you want the actual thumbnail to display bigger?
the mc-thumbnail stuff allows you to set maximum height, but I want them to be bigger, so you can actually see what it is a bit more.

Re: Thumbnail size
I don't follow - those are the settings you use; mc-thumbnail-max-height (or width) sets the size of the thumbnail.cayennep wrote:But what if you want the actual thumbnail to display bigger?
