Typing not working/ TrueType Font error

We are trying to record the workflow of a particular application page and it requires typing into several field boxes. When we try this in Automatic mode, we get an error that says Only TrueType Fonts are supported. We tried it in Manual Mode and do not receive this error, but then the movie does not play correctly. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
