Exception when copying to clipboard (Flare 6)

Since upgrading to 6, I've been having this problem off and on when I copy stuff from Flare to the Clipboard. Flare crashes and I get the "Report to Microsoft" dialog. I just tried to run Capture Region with Capture to take a screenshot of the error box and I get the same error "Exception: Requested Clipboard operation did not succeed".

When I restart Flare, it crashes when I open any file. I have to reboot to restore health and well-being.

I'm able to copy and paste to/from the clipboard using other products even in this state, , so I'm not sure it's Flare or my system.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'd try reinstalling the .NET Framework first to see if that corrects the problem. If it doesn't, then I'd reinstall Flare.

Does it happen with any project, or one specific one? If it's just one, then the project or topic(s) may be corrupted, but I'm more inclined to think this is an application corruption issue than a project/topic corruption issue.

Before something drastic like reinstalling .NET or Flare, try to clear out your clipboard:

(or, in WinXP, go to Start > Run > clipbrd and click the X to clear out the clipboard)

It's possible that there is an issue with something already in the clipboard.

I figure I should post a follow up in case anyone else runs into this problem... it turns out that an out-of-date Remote Desktop was interfering with the clipboard. Windows Update fixed my problems. Weird, huh?
