More on Windows 7 with Flare 6

Is anyone having problems with building targets when running Flare 6 on Windows 7? If so, were/are the problems related to DCOM settings or other system settings?

Why do you suspect DCOM? As far as I know nobody uses DCOM these days anymore. I am quite sure Flare uses socket connections.

Due to a DCOM error on source control upgrade on Windows 7, I was attempting to rule it out. Resolved the problem by simply disabling the auto sync of import files in the target.

Aha! Which source control system do you use? And what was the DCOM error? I found DCOM to be a royal pain, especially after Microsoft made it more 'secure' and basically turned every feature off and made configuration a nightmare. Would be interesting to find out where the error is caused....unless you don't care any longer since it is gone now.
