How do I specify the Document Properties (specifically, the Title field) in the Word Output Target? I can't find this in the online help or UI...
Thanks,
Hanna

Re: Document Properties for Word Output?
I don't believe there is a way to explicitly set doc properties in a Word target. Sounds like a good candidate for a feature request:
http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx
(The link is to the "bug report" form, but you can use the same form for making a request for a feature enhancement.)
But there is this workaround. In whatever is the first topic in the TOC you use for your Word target, open the topic's Properties (not its TOC heading's Properties, by the way). On the Properties window's Topic Properties tab, set the Topic Title to whatever it is you want to use as the Title in the Word doc's document properties. I'm pretty sure, by the way, that if you use spaces in the title, those spaces will be converted to underscores (but maybe that's just due to how I have some option set in Flare).

Re: Document Properties for Word Output?
That's how it works for me as well, and I don't think there is an option anywhere. Hyphens are also converted to underscores (so you can get quite a few underscores in a row sometimes), and it cuts off at 20 characters. Not really all that useful.... I'm pretty sure, by the way, that if you use spaces in the title, those spaces will be converted to underscores (but maybe that's just due to how I have some option set in Flare).
I put in a request once for a proper title, but I added that I'd like all the target variables (I have author, subject, etc set up) to also be converted to document properties.
