Unable to open Link Viewer

For no apparent reason, the Link Viewer in Flare has stopped working for me--selecting it from the View menu or via right-clicking the topic does nothing. Interestingly, the icon displayed next to the menu item name is framed in orange, which implies that the item has been selected. Selecting the menu item repeatedly does not turn "off" the icon. This seems to imply that Flare thinks the Link Viewer is already being displayed, but is unable to hide it.

I've tried repairing Flare 6 (twice), rebooted, cleaned my registry, all to no avail. Aside from this, Flare appears to be running normally as far as I can tell.

Has anyone else encountered this problem before?

I've seen similar interface errors. I had a few odd problems when I first upgraded to Flare 6 that were solved by resetting the window layouts (even though I had not "set" any layouts at the time). Worth a try.

MadCap Tech Support also recommended resetting the window layout--that did the trick. This appears to be a bug in the UI.
