Too many levels in my PDF TOC

Post by scooter262 »

I want to only have h1's included in the output --> my target prints directly to PDF. In the MadCap|tocProxy style, I set mc-toc-depth to 1. But the PDF still prints 3-levels deep. What am I doing wrong?
I'm using the TOC proxy in a topic.

Good grief, a question I can answer - must be learning something!

I've had a similar problem, and one thing I did to fiddle with it is to edit the styles for your H2 and H3 headings so that mc-toc-level is set to 0, rather than 2 or 3.

Hope that helps - it took me ages to find it so I hope I've saved you a bit of time.

The attribute to modify is mc-heading-level, not mc-toc-level.
