Adjusting Skin for TOC links/colours

Post by peterbrown05 »

Hi
We have a lo-lite skin (black background with white text). All looks good and can be configured as we wish. However in WebHTML, the TOC area we cannot seem to find anywhere to configure the TOC mouseover colour (it is always Red) and for a seletec Topic, it always highlights the selected item with a LIGHT coloured box. This therefore means in our black background/light coloured foreground that we cannot really read it.

Is it possible to customise these colours/highlighting/mousover values in the skin/xml?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Peter,

It's not directly possible with Flare (although plenty of us have asked for it!).

I think you'll find what you're looking for in MadCap's Knowledge Base at http://kb.madcapsoftware.com/Default_Le ... adCap-Skin.

Over in the WebHelp forum, several others have also asked the same / similar question. Check out these posts:

http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewto ... =9&t=10223

Hope this points you in the right direction.

p.s. In future, when posting about WebHelp, be sure to post to the WebHelp forum, not the HTML forum. The HTML forum is for .chm help. :)

And make sure you submit a request for this at http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx. The more people who ask for something, the sooner it'll get added.
