How to clear license and registration key

Does anybody know how to clear the license and registration key information from a computer.
I want to uninstall Flare 6 and then reinstall Flare 6 with new license key and re-register.
At present, the computer seems to keep the keys information somewhere - so that when I re-install it just remembers.

I had to do this a while ago; from MadCap support...

In order to clear the license and registration information, please use the following steps:
1) Click on the Start menu in Windows
2) Select "Run"
3) In the dialog that appears, type the following: regedit
4) Click the "OK" button
5) The Registry Editor should appear
6) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/MadCap Software folder.
7) Select the Flare folder
8) Press "Delete"
8) Close the Registry Editor

For anyone else who reads this later, just be aware that you can severely screw up your computer if you screw up the registry. Make a backup of the registry before making any changes to it.

My computer underwent a complete reinstall of the OS, so everything had to be reloaded again. Upon reinstalling MadCap Flare 6.1, when asked to register my license, I did so, but received a message back saying that my license is already registered. I keep getting the message saying that I need to register my copy of Flare, but I cannot do so because it is already registered. How do I re-register my license, if that's necessary? The message also states that if I don't register my copy, I will not have access to certain capabilities, like technical support. I'm hoping that this can be done without messing around manually in the registry.

Your best bet is to contact support. Even when it states you cannot, I am sure they will help you. It is not as if you don't have any license.
When you entered the licensing information, did you enter the same email address used previously? I recall that the registration went through fine if the entered information is identical.
