Styling <MadCap|helpControlMenuItem>

Post by helen »

Morning,

I would like to make my pop up on the Concept link adopt some aspects of the one in the Flare help. I've got as far as playing with the <MadCap|helpControlMenuItem> style, however I'm stuck on a couple of things:

1) How to get the left margin to extend to the top of the box (and get rid of the black close cross in the top right)
2) How to get that tick to show the user they are currently in that page.

Screen shot attached. I'm hoping this is possible in Webhelp and not just with the embedded version.

Thanks!

Left margin? If you mean the margin at the top, then I don't think there's a skin/stylesheet setting.

However, you could hack it by adding this to your stylesheet... it'll hide the div containing the cross, which is where the margin comes from.

Code: Select all

div.MCKLinkBody div
{
   display: none;
}

That feature's only in DotNetHelp, you can't get it in WebHelp.
