plainer, smaller arrows

Post by cayennep »

The arrows in Capture are huge and take over. Am I missing something, or is it really required to go in and edit the pixel dimensions of each piece in order to change?

Even when I pick the straight ones, it uses those funky curvy ones. I can copy an arrow from that Select Shape Style window and paste it into the image, then I get the one I want.

This seems very odd behavior so curious what others are doing.
I really want just plain straight arrows like in other image edit programs, any tips please advise.

Thx!

Once you have edited the pixel count for the arrow (double click the arrow to open its properties dialog and select the Arrow tab) so the arrow looks the way you want it to, close the Arrow properties dialog and right click the arrow. Select Add to palette from the context menu. This will add the modified version of the arrow to your palette, allowing you to selected the modified arrow at any time.

You can show the palette(s) at any time by clicking the palettes button on the toolbar, or by clicking the View -> Palettes menu item.

fyi, the polygon line + arrow works fine for this and is easier for line arrows

You can also insert a .cur cursor image. Just go to Insert > Add Cursor Image and navigate to where your .cur files are (that's typically in C:\Windows\Cursors).
