Hi..
I have imported snippets and images from another Flare Project. While making snippets of entire topics, I did not add the bookmarks to it.
Now in the current project I need to use the same bookmarks that I had in the old project.
Is there any way that I can use the same old bookmarks?
Thanks
Shweta

Re: Importing BookMarks
You can reuse the same bookmark as often as you want, so long as you don't repeat it in the same topic. I haven't actually tried linking to a bookmark in a snippet in a topic -- even though Flare displays the contents of the snippet in the XML Editor, when you look in the topic code it's just a reference until the output is built, then the actual contents are embedded inside the topic. So if the bookmark is in the snippet and you can't link to it through the Flare GUI, then you might have to modify the link manually to append the bookmark name to the link. Once the output is built it should work.
So your bookmarks in the new project can be the same as the old project, but the bookmarks themselves have to reside in this project, unless you're doing project linking or merging projects.

Actually I got the Bookmarks from my developer in a header file. Now I can just link the identifiers to the corresponding topics.
Anyway thanks for your help Lisa.

Oh, that doesn't sound like the type of bookmarks I was thinking about. I was talking about the bookmarks you use to cross-reference to something and which you add by going to Insert > Bookmark. But if you're talking about a header file then it sounds like you're talking about a map ID or whatever the nomenclature is for it nowadays. That's a different kettle of fish.
