Expand TOC volumes by default?

I have a relatively short TOC (for a small project), and it would be nice if the whole TOC hierarchy were visible from the start. Is there a way to make that happen?

My target is WebHelp.

There's no way that i know of. i submitted a bug report just yesterday for this issue too.

i did use a work-around by putting my top-level topic in the lower level and removing the link from the top level. the breadcrumbs won't work right, but the whole toc opens to auto-sync (if you turn on that option in the target editor) with the first file.

Mine isn't quite simple enough for that to work: I do have multiple volumes at the top level, and only the first one opens if I use your trick. I think I'll have to live with the default behavior, but I'll add my voice to your feature request.

That has been a feature request for a long time, The more people that ask for it, the better the chance the madcap guys will add it
