Generated hyperlinks at bottom of webpage output

Post by mitches »

When I build my online help, hyperlinks are generated and displayed at the bottom of the page. They are picking up the flow and indentation of the TOC. My problem is that the customer just noticed them and since they are hyperlinks, they want them to be blue and underlined. I've been unable to determine what styles to change to get the color to change. I would like to know why I'm getting the links; however, now that they are there, I really need to know the style type so I can change the color. There is more than one type. They are currently Bold and Normal depending on the depth in the TOC structure.

In your generated output, right-click in the topic frame and select the option to view the frame's source (code). That will show you which styles (specifically, which classes) are being called by whatever feature you're using at the bottom of the topic. Since it mimics the flow and indentation of the TOC, it sounds like it might be a mini-TOC, and if it's on every topic then you probably have a mini-TOC proxy in the masterpage.

Just to finish off, if it IS a miniTOC, you need to edit the styles <p.MiniTOC1>, <p.MiniTOC2> etc to get them to be blue and underlined.

Actually, you'd need to modify the pseudo-classes for them under the <a> tag, which means you might have to add them to the stylesheet.
