When working through my content, I made every H1, H2 and H3 to be a new topic. This did mean that some topics were just a heading 1 followed by a brief intro paragraph, but for my PDF it didn't matter as the only new pages I set up were for the start of chapters. As my background is with traditional DTP, it worked in my head, and I didn't think it mattered.
However, when I stick all of this into WebHelp, I'm finding that I get single pages as described - just a heading with one intro paragraph and the user would have to click (not quite sure where!) to see the stuff that the intro paragraph was whittering on about, rather than just scrolling.
Do I need to glue my topics back together again (which would be a bit of a pain but not huge as it's not a massive project), or is there some way I can create a sub-class of H2 that makes it join onto the bottom of the H1 topic that preceeds it?
Or do I need to take a completely different approach?
Your suggestions are very welcome, so please share your expertise. And do feel free to snigger at my stupidity too, I really don't mind if you then come up with a solution I can use!
ps: I'm also really confused about skins, but that's a query for the Webhelp forum, I think.
